The new James Bond film has already been plagued with a number of false starts and stops due to the unfortunate Sony hack. But things finally seem to be getting underway. Production continues on the Austrian set and Sony has seen fit to give us our first official look at Bond and a behind the scenes video-blog of how things are shaping up on Spectre.
Spectre will be the 24th entry into the thrilling spy saga and the fourth to feature the latest Bond, Daniel Craig. MGM, Eon Productions and Sony are co-producing the film and have gifted eager fans with the first behind the scenes look at the project. Nothing major is revealed but the actors and producers do offer some insight into how the filming process is shaping up and how the film itself is looking at this point. During all of the talking we get glimpses of the snowy set in the background and are teased in regards to one of the movies marquee set pieces.
Take a look at the video below:
The vid-blog isn’t very long but it does inspire a certain confidence in the team after all of the fuss the hack caused. With Sam Mendes back behind the camera, Daniel Craig ready and willing to give us one last show and Christoph Waltz (presumably) playing an iconic Bond villain, I am more than ready to watch this day one. In addition to the video we also got our first official still of Bond in action. Much like the clip, little is given away from the lone image but the location seems intriguing and Bond looks as ready as ever.
“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”
